Former Nigeria
international Victor Anichebe has reportedly attracted strong interest from
Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock.
Anichebe, who last
played for BJ BSU in China, has been without a club since January.
The 31-year-old made a
name for himself at Everton before going on to join West Bromwich Albion and
Sunderland during his 11-year stay in England.
Anichebe scored 27
goals in 204 English Premier League appearances, with most of those goals
coming in his time with the Toffees.
According to the Daily
Record, Anichebe’s representatives are currently in talks with Kilmarnock about
a possible deal while League One side Doncaster remain interested in signing
the burly forward.
The Lagos-born striker
scored just a single goal in 11 appearances for the Super Eagles.
Kilmarnock currently
occupy seventh place on the Scottish Premiership standings.
