Real Madrid's Karim Benzema and Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann are up among five candidates to win the award for the best French player plying his trade abroad.
The prize, awarded by the National Union of Professional Footballers, sees the two Madrid-based players go up against Paul Pogba (Manchester United), Hugo Lloris (Tottenham), and N'Golo Kante (Chelsea).
The award for the best player in Ligue 1 is between Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, Angel Di Maria, all from PSG, as well as Ben Arfa (Rennes) and Nicolas Pepe(Lille).
The names of the winners will be announced on 19 May at a gala organised by the UNFP.
