Super Eagles midfielder Izunna Uzochukwu has signed a short
term loan deal with Norwegian top division club, Aalesunds FK from Chinese
second division team Meizhou Hakka.
Uzochukwu, a former FC Midtjylland and Amkar Perm star completed
his move back on Monday Completesports.com was informed by the player.
“It was a move I
had to make since I was not guaranteed any chance of playing but this move it
to get me back on track once again,” Uzochukwu, from his new base in Norway.
Capped once by Nigeria, the 28-year-old started off his career
with Nigerian amateur side, FC Ebedei, and also featured for Odense Boldklub
for two seasons before joining Meizhou Hakka in 2018.
He is in line to
make his home debut for Aalesunds in Saturday’s clash against Kongsvinger.
