Nigerian forward Anthony Nwakaeme scored his ninth league goal of the
season for Trabzonspor who thrashed Antalayaspor 4-1 in a Turkish SuperLig
clash on Friday.
The visitors took the lead after nine minutes through Souleymane Doukara
but Nwakaeme restored parity for the hosts in the 21st minute.
The strike took his tally to six goals in his last five league
games.
In the second half, goals from Caleb Ekuban, Olcay Sahan, assisted by
Nwakaeme, and a late strike from Murat Cem Akpinar secured a comeback win for
Unal Karaman’s side.
Nwakaeme has now scored 10 goals across all competitions, including nine
in the Turkish top-flight this season.
Trabzonspor, placed fourth in the log, play Shehu Abdullahi Bursaspor
next Friday.
