Real Madrid have reportedly decided
to make an offer of £70m for Chelsea winger Eden Hazard.
The
Spanish giants are long-term admirers of Hazard, who appears likely to leave
Chelsea in the summer if he does not pen a new contract at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea
have allegedly set an asking price of £100m but according to The Sun, Real
intend to make an offer considerably lower than the Premier League club’s
valuation.
The
report adds that Real do not expect to be successful with their opening
approach, but want it to be viewed as a sign of their intent ahead of next
season.
Returning
head coach Zinedine Zidane could be provided with funds of up to £300m to
transform Real’s under-performing squad.

Meanwhile
Arsenal are reportedly considering a summer swoop for Celtic defender Kieran
Tierney.
Tierney
has appeared on 165 occasions for Celtic since making his debut back in 2014.
The 21-year-old has a long-term
contract with the Hoops until the end of the 2022-23 campaign, but according to
The Mirror, Arsenal are keen to land the defender in this summer’s transfer
window.
Tierney,
who has only just returned from a troublesome hip problem, has contributed five
assists in 17 Scottish Premiership appearances for his club during the 2018-19
campaign.
Leicester
City have also been credited with an interest in the Scotland international,
though, with Brendan Rodgers keen for the defender to follow him to the King
Power Stadium.
