As the countdown continues
towards tomorrow’s fixture against Nigeria in Asaba, Delta state Nigeria,
Seychelles midfielder Jean-claude Christian Berlouis has promised Nigerians
that he and his team mates will give the Eagles a good game at the Stephen
Keshi stadium.
Group leaders
Nigeria have already secured their place in the finals of the 2019 Africa Cup
of Nations in Egypt and will be in the pot for the draw on Friday, 12th April
at CAF’s headquarters in Cairo, while the Pirates were long eliminated and have
only come to fulfill a formality of the official fixtures.
Despite not having anything to play for beyond
pride, Berlouis, speaking with reporters says they will fight to the
very end in ensuring they give a good account of themselves.
“We are going to come and give a good game to
Nigeria, we are coming all out for the three points, we coming for a win as well,
we are going to ensure we give our best to see it happen, we will fight till
the end”
“There are many new players in the team, and they are eager to learn so I
believe the guys are ready”.
