Sundowns
Lobi Stars failed to match their words with action against
Mamelodi Sundowns who defeated their visitors 3-0 in their CAF Champions League
matchday five fixture at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in South Africa on Saturday.
Mamelodi who are regular campaigners in the continent’s flagship
competition wasted no time in getting on the scorer’s sheet through Thapelo
Morena who gave the home side the lead in the second minute.
The pressure
continued for Lobi Stars when eight minutes to the end of the first half,
Gaston Sirino capitalised on a defensive error to set up Themba Zwane for
Sundowns second goal.
Not done yet,
Sundowns were determined to extend the lead which they did through Lebohang
Maboe who dribbled past the entire Lobi defence before finding the back of the
net to the delight of fans.
