Victor Osimhen could be on his way to AC Milan of Italy in the summer for a fee of €15m, from which his present club Charleroi of Belgium, will get only €3m.
Although it appears Chaleroi would be eligible to only a
marginal part of Osimhen’s transfer fee, but the Belgian outfit are ready to
let the striker go.
This is basically because Osimhen is only on loan at Charleroi
from VfL Wolfsburg of Germany, who will expectedly get the lump sum of his sale
in the summer, and the Belgian club are ready to accept.
However, a fourth club has also shown in the picture, with
additional reports indicating that Osimhen could eventually be on his way to
Lille Metropole of France.
That is because Milan are bandying an idea of shipping him out
on loan to the former club of Peter Osaze Odemwingie and Vincent Enyeama for
him to further develop into a lethal striker with five-star ratings.
It is left to be seen how Osimhen would react to a possible loan
deal from Milan to Lille, as he had been adverse of similar arrangements that
saw him loaned by Wolfsburg severally before he found his feet at Charleroi.
Osimhen had also spoken strongly of his desire for a deal at
Milan and was close to joining them in January, but eventually opted to stick
with Charleroi until the end of the current season.
A source close to the Chile 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup top scorer and all time highest
goals getter in the Cadet Mundial disclosed details of the plan outlined for
the star, which he believes is best for his career.
The source disclosed: “A two year deal with Lille with the
option of a recall after his first season has been discussed extensively by the
French side and Milan with Osimhen representatives also in the know about
development ahead of the planned move in the summer.”
