The
Confederation of African Football has appointed Kenyan referee Anthony Ogwayo
to officiate the second leg second round U-23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying
match, between Nigeria’s U23 Olympic
team and Libya’s U23 side billed for the Stephen Keshi stadium.

Ogwayo will be assisted by
Oliver Omondi Odhiambo as AR1 and Tony Mudanyi Kidiya. Both will serve as
assistant referee 2 while Israel Lemayian Mpaima will be the fourth official.
The
match commissioner for Monday’s make-or-break tie billed to kick off 4pm at the
Stephen Keshi stadium Asaba, is Marcelin Gaha Djiadeu from Cameroon.
Nigeria
lost the first leg 2-0 and must achieve a high –score win over the North
Africans to avoid early elimination from this year’s U23 AFCON finals, and
cumulatively next year’s Olympic Games.
Meanwhile, Nigeria have
drafted Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho, Chidozie
Awaziem, Valentine Ozornwafor and Victor Osimhen from the senior team to
Olympic Eagles squad
for this game.
